In 2027, Queensland’s Darling Downs will come alive with A Beary Big Trail – a vibrant, large-scale public art experience celebrating 20 years of LifeFlight’s life-saving healthcare.

For 6-8 weeks, a trail of 20 large and up to 50 smaller beautifully designed bear sculptures will appear across Toowoomba’s streets, parks and community spaces, inviting locals and visitors to explore, connect and discover.

At the end of the trail in May 2027, each large sculpture will be auctioned to raise funds for LifeFlight and its First Minutes Matter trauma training programme.
