Overview

Wild in Art partnered with Historic Royal Palaces to bring a trail of Coronation benches to the Tower of London and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

Fifteen Coronation benches were designed by schoolchildren across the UK, inspired by the values they wish to define the new era of King Charles III. They were brought to life in collaboration with artists.

During the coronation celebrations, fourteen benches were displayed at the Tower of London and one at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens in Northern Ireland.

Each bench was then gifted back to the respective schools as a lasting legacy of the historic year.
