The city of Lincoln hosted its third Wild in Art sculpture trail – and it was IMPressive! Delivered by Lincoln Business Improvement Group (BIG), the Lincoln IMP Trail saw 30 Imp sculptures create a fun, family-friendly art trail.
They were joined by up to 60 smaller Imps in its Education Trail by The EBP.
The sculpture was inspired by the historic stone imp figure located in Lincoln Cathedral, which has become a symbol of the city.
The Lincoln IMP Trail followed the success of the Lincoln Charter Barons’ and Lincoln Knights’ Trails which wowed locals and tourists alike, bringing thousands of extra people into the city.
At the auction at Lincoln Cathedral on Lincolnshire Day (October 1), 31 sculptures raised over £128,000 for the St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice charity.
