Overview

Morph’s Epic Art Adventure was hosted by Whizz Kidz in partnership with Wild in Art and multi-award-winning independent studio Aardman Animations.

The trail was one of a kind as 56 super-sized sculptures of much-loved children’s TV character Morph formed London’s first step-free art trail.

The free family-friendly art trail of colourful Morphs spanned across iconic London landmarks including St Pauls, Tate Modern, Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe and Borough Market.

An online auction of the sculptures raised a fantastic £131,151, which will help Whizz Kidz continue to empower young wheelchair users by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society.

App players voted for their favourite sculpture and the special BookBench addition to the trail came out on top!

Morph Over There’s Room for Two! was painted by Mik Richardson, an experienced Wild in Art artist who painted his first sculpture for us on our very first art trail in 2008 and completed his 100th sculpture in 2023.
