Get ready to roar with excitement as the Pride of Portsmouth takes over the city in a spectacular celebration of creativity, community, and culture.
The brand new sculpture trail of decorated lion sculptures is coming to Portsmouth in summer 2026 as part of the landmark Portsmouth 100 centenary celebrations.
Each lion sculpture will be uniquely decorated by talented artists, all reflecting the spirit of the city. The first to be unveiled is Leonardo da Pompey, created by Louise Braithwaite (aka Mad Lou Publishing), featuring illustrated scenes of the city.
We are thrilled to be partnering with Portsmouth City Council on the event, which will join a bold and diverse creative and cultural programme celebrating 100 years of city status.
