Get ready to roar with excitement as the Pride of Portsmouth takes over the city in a spectacular celebration of creativity, community and culture.

The brand new sculpture trail of 45 decorated lion sculptures and one unicorn is in Portsmouth from 13 July to 13 September 2026 as part of the landmark Portsmouth 100 centenary celebrations.

The sculptures are inspired by the city’s crest and each one has been designed by an artist, celebrating Portsmouth’s people, places and character.

The free Pride of Portsmouth app lets you track down all 45 lions across the city, plus follow the roaming unicorn as it moves from place to place.

Printed maps are also available from Portsmouth Libraries across the city. These are free for library card holders (or free if you sign up for a card on the spot), and £2 for non-members.
