Scotties in the City

Glasgow’s gone barking mad! In 2026, Scotties in the City arrived Glasgow for summer, in support of Maggie’s centres.

The trail linked up a pack of 40 beautifully designed giant Scottie Dog sculptures in the city of Glasgow and surrounding suburbs for eight weeks.

A pack of 52 wee Scotties joined the trail too, painted by local schools, nurseries and community groups as part of the community and learning programme.

The trail was live from 18 June to 16 August, after which the Scotties will be auctioned to raise funds for Maggie’s centres across Scotland.

Taking place on Thursday 10th September at Glasgow City Chambers, the auction will include all 40 giant Scottie sculptures, plus some of the small ones too.

Money raised at the auction will support Maggie’s, a charity providing free cancer support and information in centres across the UK and online.
