After the huge success of Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade in 2021, Heart of Kent Hospice brought a second Wild in Art event to Maidstone – Shaun the Sheep in the Heart of Kent.

The new trail featured over 50 large individually decorated Shaun sculptures placed around the town’s open spaces.

There were also flocks of little Shaun sculptures which formed the Learning Programme, designed to engage with schools and youth groups by encouraging them to join in this ewe-nique event.

On 13-15 September, trail-goers could bid farewell to all the Shaun sculptures at a special farewell weekend at Maidstone Market Hall.

An exciting fundraising auction took place on 26 September and the sale of the large sculptures raised £265,250 for Heart of Kent Hospice.
