Find the Flock returned to Trentham Gardens in autumn 2026, with 12 new Shaun the Sheep sculptures waiting to be discovered from 18 September to 1 November.

This year’s flock featured designs different from those on Trentham’s 2025 trail, promising as much creativity and colour as the first.

Created in collaboration with Wild in Art and Aardman, each impressive 160cm-tall Shaun was individually hand-painted by talented artists.

To join the adventure, visitors simply picked up a free activity pack from the Trentham Visitor Centre before setting off to explore the trail.

The flock’s return was particularly special for Aardman, as 2026 marked the 50th anniversary of the much-loved animation studio. The celebration also coincided with the release of the new Shaun the Sheep movie, The Beast of Mossy Bottom.

A familiar face! The sculptures on this trail have appeared on previous Wild in Art trails. If you’re a regular trail visitor, you might recognise a few old friends along the way.
