Find the Flock returns to Trentham Gardens this autumn, with 12 new Shaun the Sheep sculptures waiting to be discovered from 18 September to 1 November.

This year’s flock will feature designs different from those on Trentham’s 2025 trail, promising as much creativity and colour as the first.

Created in collaboration with Wild in Art and Aardman, each impressive 160cm-tall Shaun has been individually hand-painted by talented artists. Expect bold colours, eye-catching patterns and unique designs throughout the gardens.

To join the adventure, simply pick up your free activity pack from the Trentham Visitor Centre before setting off to explore the trail.

Find the Flock runs throughout Trentham’s Halloween Half Term and the Halloween Festival so you can combine your Shaun adventure with plenty of spooky activities for a brilliant day out.

The flock’s return is particularly special for Aardman, as 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the much-loved animation studio. The celebration also coincides with the release of the new Shaun the Sheep movie, The Beast of Mossy Bottom.

A familiar face! The sculptures on this trail have appeared on previous Wild in Art trails. If you’re a regular trail visitor, you might recognise a few old friends along the way.
