In the winter of 2023, we took a wintry walk with our Snowdogs in Birmingham and enjoyed a festive sculpture trail inspired by the animated sequel to the late Raymond Briggs’ timeless picture book The Snowman™.

In the heart-warming story, a young boy builds a snowman and creates a Snowdog with the remaining snow. At midnight both of his creations magically come to life.

Our collection of ten uniquely decorated Snowdogs brought festive fun to Birmingham city centre from 8 November 2023 until 4 January 2024.

Visitors discovered the Snowdogs by downloading a Christmas in Birmingham map or picking up a physical copy from city centre stores, Library of Birmingham, Bullring customer services and all of the Christmas attractions.

Each Snowdog sculpture also helped to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
