The Big Bear Stomp

The Big Bear Stomp is an exciting new Wild in Art sculpture trail coming to Surrey in the summer of 2027. Thirty uniquely designed and painted bears will appear across Surrey’s towns, parks and open spaces, creating a free outdoor trail to explore and enjoy.

Local artists, schools and community groups will all play a part in bringing the trail to life – and every step supports Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, a charity that has provided hospice care across the region for the past 30 years.

The trail will be in place throughout July and August 2027, offering residents and visitors the chance to discover the bears, explore new places and celebrate the art and creativity of the local community.

Alongside the main trail, smaller Bear Cubs, decorated by local schools and community groups, will be displayed in indoor venues.

After the trail ends, the large sculptures will be auctioned to raise vital funds for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice.
