The Big Hare Trail hopped across North Berwick for 10 weeks in the summer of 2021 to mark Leuchie House’s 10th anniversary.

The public art event featured ten giant hare sculptures, each one individually designed by a local artist and sponsored by a business. The unique sculptures formed a free, fun, family-friendly trail of discovery for tourists and locals alike to explore.

The legacy of The Big Hare Trail continued after the summer as each of the sculptures were auctioned in the autumn to raise more than £115,000 for Leuchie House.
