Hospice Isle of Man
Overview

From May to September 2022, Hospice Isle of Man unleashed its next Wild in Art Trail on the Isle of Man.

Following the success of the Wallabies Gone Wild art trail in 2019, The Big Splash saw a large pod of individually designed Dolphin sculptures placed around the Isle of Man for everyone to see and enjoy. Forming an unforgettable 12-week trail around the island’s most spectacular coastal locations and open spaces, these beautifully-decorated sculptures helped spark a journey of marine exploration like never before.

Not only encouraging people to explore the Island over the summer, the fundraising event closed with a sculpture auction where £151,000 was raised for Hospice Isle of Man’s end of life and palliative care services.

About Hospice Isle of Man

Since their founding in 1983, Hospice (IOM) has grown to provide all aspects of palliative care for the island. Offering services in their state of the art Tevir Centre building at Hospice, or helping people in their own homes with the Hospice at Home team. They are proud to have become a cherished part of the Manx community, offering a broad range of services.

The hospice’s focus is to look beyond their building, to reach out and support more people within the community in the place of their choice, at the right time for them.
