Inspired by the first verse of this classic Christmas song, Mik’s design incorporates a lone partridge nestled in the branches of a stoic pear tree. On the reverse of the sculptures sits a stained- glass style representation of the pear icon, beautifully surrounded by a wreath of leaves.
About the Artist
Mik Richardson is a Norfolk-based artist who has run his own art business since leaving the RAF in 2006. He has, to date, painted 100 Wild in Art sculptures which have raised over £350,000 for the charities involved.
