Ratty the Water Vole with Bumblebee

About the sculpture

This design is inspired by the concept of ‘gardening for nature.’

Featuring a subtle leaf pattern spreading across Ratty’s jacket and trousers, along with hexagons filled with a bee’s favourite wildflowers that aid in pollination, this sculpture is the embodiment of a quintessential British summertime.

Also contributing to this theme, Ratty’s briefcase has been transformed into a bug hotel, housing all sorts of creepy crawlies and critters who have made it their home.
