In summer 2026, families across North Lincolnshire were invited to sharpen their senses and get ready for an adventure like no other.

North Lincolnshire Council is brought the We’re Going on a Bear Hunt sculpture trail to the heart of Scunthorpe during the summer holidays.

That’s right…no grass too wavy, no mud too squelchy.

The nine-week trail ran from 11 July to 1 September and featured ten large-scale bear sculptures located across the town centre. They were joined by eight bear cubs, designed and decorated by local schools.

A familiar face! The large sculptures have appeared on previous Wild in Art trails. If you’re a regular trail visitor, you might recognise a few old friends along the way.
