About the sculpture

Painted mostly using paints rescued from landfill, this design features some of the UK’s favourite wild animals.

Foxes are at their noisiest in winter, mountain hares turn from brown to white and hedgehogs may go looking for new nesting sites.

The clear night sky shows Sirius the Dog Star, the brightest night star in the firmament, a familiar winter sight.

About the artist

Christine is an illustrator based in West Yorkshire. She loves to create fun, colourful images that will brighten the viewer’s day and bring a smile to their face.
