This medieval nobleman was created to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta – the most celebrated document in English history – and at the epicentre of modern constitutional law.

The Barons gave trail visitors the opportunity to ‘meet’ the individuals involved in its creation, namely barons – wealthy landowners in medieval England.
