Overview
The Big Hoot Holzkirchen was the first Wild in Art-produced sculpture art trail in Germany.
The Bavarian market town south of Munich hosted a parliament of 19 uniquely painted Owl sculptures from 1 July to 8 September.
The public art trail was placed along the town’s streets and squares to form a trail which could be walked for free by all visitors.
An auction for the large sculptures raised funds for local hospice Hospizkreis Miesbach.
