Don your waddling wellies, woollies and walking shoes because our emperor penguins are back!
An enchanting family-friendly, free, walkable trail of 12 unique Emperor Penguin sculptures are waddling to Doncaster this Christmas.
The sculptures feature stunning artwork from some of our veteran artists and were first featured on 2022’s Brum’s Penguin Parade.
The spectacular trail begins on 23 November to mark the start of Doncaster’s Frost Festival and will delight visitors right through until 29 January.
The event is brought to you in partnership with The City of Doncaster Council.
We’re delighted to welcome the penguins to Doncaster over the winter as part of this year’s Frost Festival. They’ll certainly bring festive magic to the city as we countdown to Christmas plus we have the pleasure of their company until the end of January so plenty of opportunities for people to join the penguin trail over the coming months. Not only will the penguins bring their festive charm to the city but the trail is a great opportunity to get out and about, enjoy a leisurely stroll and clear the head especially during the hectic festive period.
