Overview

A very special art trail will be arriving in Bridport, West Bay, and Lyme Regis in the spring of 2025.

From the iconic cliffs at West Bay to the Cobb at Lyme Regis, Stampede by the Sea will feature a herd of elephant sculptures, placed across the area to create a fun and free art trail.

The sculptures will be individually designed and painted by talented artists and local schools, youth organisations and learning venues can also get involved and have their own baby elephant to design and keep.

A perfect activity for local families, and an engaging attraction for visitors to the area, the trail will be discoverable via a mobile app and map.

Stampede by the Sea is raising funds for Weldmar Hospicecare, who provide specialist end of life care for local adults with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones. After the trail is over, the large sculptures will be auctioned to raise vital funds for the hospice.
