The Irish Nation

Manchester
1 March 24  – 6 May 24
Irish Mancunian
Overview

The Irish Nation was a trail of mosaic artworks created by world renowned mosaic artist Mark Kennedy. The original pieces of work were on public display in a series of cultural and leisure venues throughout Manchester from 1 March to 31 March to coincide with the Manchester Irish Festival. Due to popular demand, the trail was extended to 6 May 2024.

Each artwork was accompanied by a plaque with a QR code taking you to more information about each Irish icon and highlighted any specific links they had to the city of Manchester.

We are proud to be a supporter of this project delivered by Irish Mancunian.
