At the heart of Music for the Senses is Guitar Art which will see more than 50 acoustic and electric transformed by artists into individual artworks which will be displayed in shop windows and venues around the city.

At the end of the trail, these guitars will be auctioned to raise money for grassroots music projects and venues throughout Greater Manchester via a dedicated music fund managed by charity partner, Forever Manchester in collaboration with key music partners in the city.

We need you to make it happen

We are inviting artists to submit unique designs which will transform an acoustic or electric guitar into a striking visual masterpiece. This is an opportunity to showcase your artistic talent and contribute to a public art trail that will engage and inspire Mancunians, music tourists and visitors.

How to get involved

The Music for the Senses Artist Pack which includes the full terms and conditions, along with the guitar design templates are available now!

1. Download the Artist Pack and guitar templates
2. Complete your designs
3. When you’re ready to submit, complete the Google Form on this page
4. You will then receive an email address which you should use to submit your design templates to.

Designs must be submitted by midnight on 21 April 2025.
