Elmer’s Art Parade is a colourful and family-friendly sculpture trail that came to Milton Keynes in summer 2026.

Inspired by the much-loved children’s book character Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, the trail officially launched on Saturday 11 July and ran throughout the school summer holidays to Monday 31 August.

The event saw Wild in Art’s 12 Elmer sculptures installed at key locations across the city centre, transforming public spaces into a vibrant outdoor gallery. Each Elmer is individually designed, inspired by the work of famous artists from across the world including William Morris, Yayoi Kusama, Frida Kahlo, and JMW Turner.

A familiar face! The sculptures on this trail have appeared on previous Wild in Art trails. If you’re a regular trail visitor, you might recognise a few old friends along the way.
